For those guests who visit the Czech Republic for the first time, this eventful and interesting tour would be one of the best options to get familiar with magical Prague city. Though the tour can’t also hurt the tourists who have already visited our city and who wish to brush up their memories of one of the most gorgeous European capitals.
First part of our tour is a bus trip; for half an hour you will be travelling across the New Town and listening to our guide’s fascinating stories about the historical sights you will meet on the trip. Among them are the Wenceslas Square, the famous National Museum, the State Opera, the Charles Square, the Dancing House, the National Theatre, the Rudolfinum… You will be going along the illustrious Vltava riverside promenade, crossing the Czech Bridge and moving up to Hradčany (pronounced as “Hradchany”). Our bus tour ends here. We will get off the bus and be exploring the city on foot for next 3 hours.
At the beginning of the walking tour we will approach fabulously nice and historically valuable Prague Castle complex. You will see the New and the Old Royal Palace, 3 historical courts of the Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George square and basilica. When leaving the Prague Castle, you will go down old castle stairs towards the historical Malá Strana town. Down there you will see all the most famous sights belonging to this part of the city such as for instance the eminent Franz Kafka’s Museum, Kampa Island, etc. Following the walking tour across Malá Strana, you will proceed on to one of the European oldest bridges, the Charles Bridge, and cross the Vltava River using it. Further, you will find yourself in the historical Old Town area. Here you will see Týnský Temple, St. Nicolas Cathedral, Jan Hus Memorial, the City Hall and the famous Astronomical Clock – “Orloj”. Here is the place where our tour ends.
