Dresden is located 145 km from Prague. During the World War II, a major part of the city was destroyed, so Dresden is now recovering its original splendor. Primarily, the city is famous for the Zwinger art gallery and its “calling card” – Rafael’s the Sistine Madonna. Nowadays, the Dresden art gallery is justifiably proud of one of the largest paining collections in the world.
